Our Children Services Division encompasses a broad and diverse spectrum of services that strive towards self sufficiency.

Through Family and Youth Services over 20 programs in the forms of prevention programs, educational seminars, support groups, and skill-building courses are provided to enhance family mental health.

An extensive community resource library addresses substance abuse issues. Our Connections Program within the schools deals with substance abuse by the children’s parents.

Our Youth Booth in the Hudson Valley Mall for over fifteen years facilitates youth development and provides support to youth who are struggling with family mental health and substance abuse. It also offers employment skills.

MHA is also in the unique position of developing support groups addressing any significant issues the community requests. These groups will parallel the extensive County Needs Assessment United Way implemented highlighting self sufficiency for families and individuals.

Our Children Services Division provides an extensive array of Family Based Treatment Programs encompassing Ulster, Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, Schenectady, and Sullivan counties.

Our programs, Harbour - Ulster, Harbour - Delaware, Harbour Light, and Harbour House are dedicated to providing youth a second chance to achieve self sufficiency through a family based treatment environment of support, struture, trust, and guidance.
