ACES Program
November 17, 2017
College can be stressful. You can easily become overwhelmed juggling school, work, friends and family, all while trying to figure out what you want to be in life.
Having that one teacher or other professional on campus as a guiding source of emotional support, can be a lifesaver.
MHA’s ACES program, sponsored in part by United Way, provides support to Ulster Community College students with emotional and psychological disabilities. The ACES counselor helps students manage the college environment by providing one on one counseling, assistance with the completion of forms, and can liaison with campus and community services. Students can refer themselves or be referred by a Access-VR or mental health counselor. #mymentalhealth
