Presents for Participants Gift Drive
Our Presents for Participants gift drive has been a resounding success! In the face of a pandemic, which limited the places where we could collect gifts, we still collected over 200 gifts!
Thank you so much for the outpouring of support from the Ellenville Churches who published our request in their bulletins, the Marlboro Free Library who collected a carload of gifts and the individual donors from Hurley, Kingston and beyond, your dedication, energy, time and commitment are appreciated beyond words! You have helped brighten the holidays for over 200 people!
A very warm and special thank you to St. Mary’s, St. Peter’s Holy Name Parish – Kingston. We could not have done this without you. You have been our true heroes in this project collecting nearly 150 gifts! We cannot thank you enough.
The presents collected will go directly to people dealing with a mental illness who are currently living in a Mental Health Association in Ulster County, Inc. residence or involved in one of our community based programs. For many, this will be the only gift they receive this year.
Please consider donating, if you haven’t already. Further support will allow us to provide gifts to even more of the people we serve.
